What is the difference between a data room and an MCP connection?
A data room connection brings the deal into Emma. Emma reads the documents where they sit in your data room or cloud storage and keeps the review in sync with the live document set.
An MCP connection works the other way round. It lets AI tools your team already uses, such as Claude, ask questions about the review in Emma, so the findings travel to where the team works.
Do documents leave the data room?
No. Emma connects to the data room and reads every document where it sits. There are no exports, ZIP files or migrations. The review, the findings and the team's collaboration live in Emma, while the documents stay in the data room.
My data room is not listed. Can Emma connect to it?
